Our Parish is governed by the rules and Canon of the Eastern Catholic Churches. The Parish Administrative wing consists of a Vicar and Asst. Vicar, 3 Trustees and 45 Parish representatives. Two General Body Meetings are conducted annually. We have 7 wards with 33 Basic Christian Community units. We have formed a Charitable Committee to undertake charitable works. The Sunday school and the adult catechism functions systematically as per the Director of the Arch Diocese.
On 15th Oct 1918 the Carmelite Sisters Convent and 1919 the Carmelite Boarding was established. The Boarding is now known as St. Rose’s Hostel. In 1918, the St.Antony’s L P School was established in the Church compound and in 1946 the St.James Orphanage was established in connection with the Jubilee of His Excellency Mar James Kalacherry. In 1951, St.Antony’s High School started functioning. In 1980, Carmel Academy English Medium School was established. Later in 2000, Higher Secondary Section was incorporated in the same complex . In 2008, a new Nursery wing was established .
